Adventure series products are made of 100% Merino wool. Great for hiking, paddling, climbing, cycling, snow sports, or for sleeping a night out in your sleeping bag!

The Adventure is relatively thin and therefore very versatile. It works well as a base layer for cold-weather activities, yet it doesn’t feel too warm when the weather is mild.

Merino wool is a popular choice for base layer material. It feels comfortable even when damp, which makes a merino wool set ideal for activities that include breaks or pauses. In such situations, many technical base layers can start to feel chillingly cold - but merino wool keeps you comfortably warm.

Devold Merino base layers are machine washable, but thanks to the nature of wool, require much less washing than technical fibers. Most often, it’s enough to just air them properly!

Adventure series base layers stand at level 2/5 in the Devold rating system of how thick a piece of apparel is.

Take good care of your Merino apparel - regular detergents are a bit over the top for use with wool, so we recommend using Nikwax Wool Wash, regardless of whether you wash your apparel in a machine or by hand.

For Devold fans: the Adventure Merino 190 series replaced the Lauparen series. The difference is that whereas Lauparen included mesh panels, the Adventure is made of uniform fabric.
